Close to the beaches
There is a bathing beach practically on our doorstep, with two others being within easy walking distance .
There are many other sporting amenities including Surfing, Water Skiing, Sailing, Wind Surfing, Diving, Golf, Tennis, Bowling, Squash, and the Ships and Castle Leisure Pool are all within easy reach.
 
Boating, Sailing, Fishing
Falmouth offers wonderful facilities for boating, with hire boats being easy to arrange to explore local creeks. Hotel packed lunches, make it possible for full day excursions.
There are also river, coastal and fishing trips which sail daily from local piers.
Being surrounded by sea, Cornwall has miles of beautiful coastal walks, which you can easily reach from the hotel.

Historic Interest
In 1945, the Membly Hall Hotel was used as Naval Headquarters in this region with a communications centre under our lawn. The former sun lounge, which now forms part of the restaurant, was the location used to prepare the plans for the famous secret raid on St. Nazaire harbour.
